How to Play
Set Up
- Each player receives 7 cards face down
- Place the remaining cards in a draw pile
- Take 3 cards from the draw pile and place them face down in 3 separate centre piles
- For an easier game, use 2 centre piles instead
Starting the Game
- Flip all centre cards face up at the same time
- The first player to say a footballer who matches all the attributes on the centre cards goes first
- Footballers can be past or present
Gameplay
- On your turn, place one of your cards onto any centre pile

Name a footballer who matches all the attributes shown across the centre piles
- e.g. English + Striker + Played in London = "Harry Kane!"
- ⚠️ Once a footballer is named, they cannot be used again!
- Name a valid footballer within a set time
Wrong Answers
- Can't think of a player? → Draw 1 card
- Play a card and name a wrong or repeated player? → Draw 2 cards
- Play continues in the same direction
Action Cards
Action cards have gold backgrounds and can be used to help yourself or hinder your opponents:
🛑 BLOCK
Simplify your turn! Place the BLOCK card anywhere to remove one of the piles. Name a player matching the other piles.
The next player MUST place their card on the BLOCK pile.
🔄 SWITCH PLAY
Place the SWITCH PLAY card in the action pile below to reverse the order of turns.
🟨 YELLOW CARD & 🟥 RED CARD
- Yellow Card → Next player draws 1 card and misses their turn
- Red Card → Next player draws 3 cards and misses their turn
- Place in the action pile below
